Pariseault Builders is looking for a talented and collaborative Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent and project team to deliver projects on-time and on-budget, while helping to ensure exceptional client satisfaction. In this roll, you will assist with overseeing field operations relative to safety, quality control, pre‑construction to close‑out activities, scheduling, and on‑site supervision of self‑perform team and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager with setting up job site logistics, field coordination and project schedule.
- Assist in coordinating and managing the work of self‑perform team and overseeing subcontractor work successfully and collaboratively.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communications with project team, client, architect, community and related stakeholders.
- Work with project team to maintain and update the project progress schedule.
- Coordinate and manage material and equipment deliveries to conform to work schedules.
- Ensure Pariseault's standards of safety and quality are adhered to by assertively monitoring and championing the safety and quality programs, processes, procedures and culture to project team and subcontractors.
- Notify subcontractors of deficiencies in work and track remediation efforts.
- Review installed work and products per project requirements and per manufacturer guidelines.
- Attend project and client meetings to coordinate and communicate project status and ensure budget, schedule and quality expectations are achieved.
- Complete daily job reports, site safety inspections, quality inspections and other required site documentation and reports.
- Maintain and update on‑site project records.
- Assist Superintendent and Project Manager with change order management.
- Manage punch list completion with Superintendent and project management team.
- Daily communicate with Superintendent on all job site activities, issues and progress.
- 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
- Demonstrated proficiency with construction technology systems and software, including Procore, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Thorough knowledge of construction standard methods, equipment, materials, tools, trade practices, and occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Familiarity with construction documents and drawings, with knowledge of all phases of construction.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
