Support the lead teacher by aiding in classroom management, implementing lessons, and providing child care, all while creating a safe and engaging learning atmosphere for young children.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the teacher in executing lesson plans and activities.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and secure classroom environment.
- Supervise children during free play, structured activities, and transitions.
- Prepare and serve snacks and lunches.
- Assist in getting children ready for nap time and supervise them during this period.
- Offer individual attention and support to children as needed.
- Monitor children’s behavior and inform the teacher of any concerns.
- Foster positive interactions and social skills among the children.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences as required.
- Attend staff meetings and engage in professional development opportunities.
- Aid in preparing materials and setting up the classroom.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood.
- 2+ years in childcare.
