Position Overview
Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School is seeking
** reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible Day-to-Day Substitute Teachers
** to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year.
Substitute teachers play an important role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment when regular classroom teachers are absent. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children, can adapt to different classroom settings, and are committed to supporting student learning and well-being.
Opportunities are available across our Lower School (Grades PK– Grade
4) and Upper School (Grades 5–8). Scheduling is flexible and based on school needs and individual availability.

• Implement lesson plans and instructional activities provided by the classroom teacher.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and respectful classroom environment.
• Support student learning while maintaining established classroom routines and expectations.
• Effectively manage classroom behavior and encourage positive student interactions.
• Supervise students during classroom instruction, transitions, and other assigned duties.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate relevant classroom information to school administration.
• Collaborate with faculty and school leadership to ensure continuity of instruction.
• Model professionalism, kindness, and respect consistent with the school's Catholic mission and values.

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred.
• Teaching certification preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to different grade levels and classroom environments.
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and flexible.
• Willingness to support and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education.
• Must successfully complete required background checks and school employment screenings.
