Special Education Teacher – High School

We're currently seeking a full-time, in-person Special Education Teacher (High School) to support a school with our client in Providence County, Rhode Island for the 2026/2027 school year.

• Location: Providence County, Rhode Island
• On-Site, 35 hours per week
• School Year: 2026/2027

• Valid 165 Comprehensive Special Education license/certification (
  PreK-12
  ).
• Experience supporting students in inclusive and/or specialized classroom settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively with school-based teams supporting student services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.

• Provide specialized instruction aligned to student learning and support needs.
• Support programs/classrooms designed for specific disability-related needs (e.g., autism support, behavior intervention, or life skills).
• Use instructional strategies appropriate to the student population served.
• Utilize classroom supports that may include sensory tools and/or adaptive technology when available.
• Support student growth by helping monitor progress and adjusting instruction within the specialized setting.
