Sec Reporting Analyst

This is a new position within the Corporate Reporting team that will play a critical role in helping to further ensure that we are well positioned to meet and maintain the financial reporting and disclosure requirements of a rapidly changing environment. Our Corporate Reporting team is looking for a colleague that will:

Work well with a variety of colleagues to support the timely and accurate preparation and review of quarterly SEC filings;

Ensure the effectiveness of an internal control environment over SEC financial reporting;

Support CFG’s process of continuous improvement by looking for ways to improve our efficiency without sacrificing quality;

Participate in XBRL training and tagging;

Support the preparation and review of deliverables related to the earnings release, including working cooperatively with our partners in Investor Relations;

Coordinate and/or prepare complex financial reporting; and

Research and respond to both internal and external audit and / or regulatory inquiries.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate for this role will have large public accounting experience working with publicly held companies and SEC external reporting.
