• Assure all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.
• To adhere to all agency safety policies, including safe driving and seat belt practices.
• Assist individuals (i.e. through demonstration, repetition, verbal and gestural instruction) in learning job tasks.
• Assist Individuals in establishing community employment relationships, schedules, and adherence to work policy.
• Support Individuals as needed (i.e. setting work pace, implementing work responsibilities, correcting work, etc.) to ensure success on the job.
• Problem‑solving issues with the individual and employer.
• Assist in the development and implementation of all individual plans for services, which assist in increasing individual participation in daily activities.
• Completion of all assigned documentation, including daily schedules, annual summaries, progress notes, data sheets, etc.
• Actively participate in staff training and assigned meetings.
• Follows and implements all clinical services and programs as in-serviced.
• • Verbal Interactions as per Behavioral support training.
  • Physical interventions as per behavioral support training.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Transport Individuals to/from work.
• Assist in working out schedules and schedule conflicts.
• Assist coworkers by providing support as needed.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: working knowledge of employment supports. Ability to read/write English, ability to instruct individuals. Ability to pass CESP certification.

Special

Qualifications:

Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats.

• High School Diploma.
• +1 year Human Services.
• Willingness and ability to complete CPR, NCI (Nonviolent crisis intervention) Human Rights and other required training.
• Access and provision of an insured automobile on an ongoing basis.
• Divers License.
• Access to an insured vehicle.
