Responsibilities
  • Live our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
  • Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation (i.e., production, pick‑up, drive‑thru, and drop‑off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
  • Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care: creating heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients at pick‑up, drive‑thru, and over the phone; keeping patients healthy by offering immunizations and other services at the register and over the phone; and demonstrating compassionate care by solving or escalating patient problems.
  • Complete basic inventory activities, such as accurate put‑away of medication deliveries and cycle counts, returns‑to‑stocks, and waiting bin inventories.
  • Contribute to a high‑performing team, embrace a growth mindset, and actively seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge.
  • Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including voluntary travel to stores in the market to work shifts as needed.
  • Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles; comply with CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
  • Deliver additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and voluntarily staffing off‑site clinics), where allowable by law and supported by required training and certification.
Immunization Support (if applicable)
  • Complete additional licensure and training requirements to obtain Technician Immunizer status.
  • Educate patients about the importance of vaccines and refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist‑on‑duty.
  • Monitor for and respond to adverse reactions; report events per public health requirements.
  • Review and collect patient information; track and document as required.
  • Monitor and manage vaccine supplies.
Required Qualifications
  • Comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy (age, education, licensure/certification).
  • State‑level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
  • Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
  • Strong customer‑service and team orientation skills.
  • Effective communication skills and active listening.
  • Mathematical reasoning for prescription calculations.
  • Problem‑resolution skills for challenging interactions.
  • Physical demands: mobile, standing, lifting up to 20 lbs, repetitive finger work, precise machine adjustments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1‑3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer‑service setting.
  • Ability to work in the home store and across the market to meet business needs.
Pay Range

$16.00 – $25.00 per hour (base hourly rate; actual offer varies by experience, education, geography).
