IT Quality Assurance- Senior/Specialist
Job Description
The IT Quality Assurance Senior/Specialist is responsible for ensuring that software applications, enterprise systems, and technology solutions meet defined quality standards before release. The role involves test planning, test case development, functional and integration testing, defect management, and collaboration with developers, business analysts, and product teams.
The specialist helps improve software reliability, reduce production defects, and establish repeatable testing practices across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate application behavior against business and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Support automated testing initiatives and maintain test scripts.
- Conduct API, database, and cross-platform testing where required.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and software release planning.
- Maintain test documentation and quality metrics.
- Recommend improvements to testing processes and quality standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. ISTQB certification or relevant automation testing certifications are beneficial.
