Amerisewn is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our sewing factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, particularly in the textile or apparel industry, and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills. This role is crucial to ensuring that our production processes are efficient, safe, and meet high‑quality standards. Bi‑lingual English/Spanish is required.

• Oversee the daily operations of the factory, ensuring production schedules are met in an efficient and cost‑effective manner.
• Monitor production progress and adjust as needed to ensure deadlines are met.
• Manage a team of sewing operators, technicians, and other production staff to optimize performance and productivity.
• Ensure production quotas and quality standards are achieved consistently.
• Work with production, sales, and operations for capacity planning and forecasting.
• Supervise, train, and mentor factory staff to ensure they are properly skilled and meet performance standards.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
• Improve and oversee quality control systems to ensure finished products meet all company standards and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to production quality.
• Manage QC team.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure that materials, including fabrics, threads, and other supplies, are available when needed.
• Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring stock levels are accurate and efficient.
• Track needs for maintenance and repair of factory equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor operational costs and recommend cost‑saving initiatives without compromising on product quality.
• Work with finance team to help manage the budget for factory operations, including labor, raw materials, and overhead expenses.
• Work with safety manager to ensure compliance with local labor laws, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Submit regular reports on production performance, labor efficiency, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation in factory operations.

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the sewing or apparel industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Exceptional organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
