We are currently looking for a Medical Technician responsible for assisting with residents’ or patients’ daily care needs, administering medications as directed, monitoring and documenting their condition, and reporting any changes to nurses or supervisors. They help maintain a safe, clean environment, follow care plans, and ensure all medication and safety protocols are followed accurately.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Provide residents with care in accordance with established policies and procedures and ensure highest quality care.
- Pass out prescribed medications following all facility policies.
- Maintain accurate medication records, charting all administrations.
- Administer oral and external medications to residents under RN supervision.
- Provide medications according to individual needs and abilities.
- Record medication administration on the resident's medication sheet at time given.
- Write a clear, brief summary of each shift before shift end.
- Complete all required daily documentation related to the ISP.
- Accountably document use of money.
- Operate all vehicles defensively, using seatbelts and obeying traffic laws.
- Report any household, vehicle, maintenance or other safety issues immediately.
- Know whereabouts of persons supported at all times.
- Work with team members to keep home and vehicles clean.
- Follow program plans and implement behavior management programs.
- Inform Manager/Service Coordinator of significant behavior changes.
- High school diploma or GED, or one to three months’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
- Medication Technician Certification.
- Competency to perform medication administration in accordance with state regulations.
- BCI required.
- Able to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence and present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
Full-time, Entry level.
