Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to support a young woman with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a 1:1 community-based setting. This is a rewarding part-time opportunity for an RN who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in someone's life by providing consistent, person-centered care.
You will play a key role in helping her achieve greater independence while ensuring her health and well-being in a supportive private home environment and within the larger community.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assess the individual's health status; communicate observations to supervisor and family.
- Promote overall health and wellness through nursing best practices.
- Foster open, respectful communication with the person supported and their family.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs.
- Assist with community outings and daily activities.
- Administer and track medications as prescribed.
- Monitor and document seizure activity.
- Accompany the individual to medical appointments as needed.
- Attend all required state and agency trainings.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's in Nursing).
- Valid Rhode Island RN license required.
- Proof of vaccination in accordance with RIDOH guidelines.
Full-Time 40 hours | 1st Shift
Flexible hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $39.00/hour
