Store Driver

Job Description

Transport automotive parts and related products to pro customers and support retail operations while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

• Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with Main Street and National Pro customers, and provide feedback to the CPP
• Assist in upselling and cross‑selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
• General stocking, truck stocking, back‑stock, and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk‑in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to use delivery board system

• Ability to locate and stock parts; safety knowledge and skills
• Operating inventory systems (back‑stock) and store equipment
• Sales aptitude and customer‑service orientation
• Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers, and leadership
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
• Use basic math accurately; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques

Automotive parts experience is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Predominantly walking or standing; ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance; must meet specified vision abilities.

Employee will usually be working inside; occasionally outside in varying weather; possible exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, vibration; moderate noise level.

Hourly rate: $15.00–$15.41 USD per hour (based on location and experience).
