Warehouse Associate

Overview

As a warehouse associate at Floor & Decor, you are the backbone of our retail location. Your key responsibilities will be compiling orders and replenishing and moving merchandise, whether it be on the sales floor or to a customer’s vehicle. Your day will be spent checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers and operating a forklift. Employment type: Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available.

• Compile orders and replenish/move merchandise on the sales floor or to a customer’s vehicle.
• Check inventory and orders; interact with customers; operate a forklift as needed.
• Restock the showroom with product and organize merchandise to company standards for easy shopping.
• Load out customers with the correct product and assist in locating items and answering questions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.

• Friendly and enthusiastic; a team player with strong communication skills.
• Customer service oriented; honest and accountable.
• Knowledge of basic math; warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure; forklift certifications may be required where permitted by state law.
• Completion of forklift certifications through Floor & Decor or as required by state regulations.

• Demonstrate understanding of the company’s safety processes and maintain compliance.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and customer service excellence.
• Support core values and standards; restock and organize the showroom; assist customers as needed.
• Load, unload and move products; assist customers in finding products and answer questions.
• Keep work area clean and safe.

• Occasional exposure to warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise level typically quiet to moderate.
• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally and 20–30 pounds frequently; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as required.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math; warehouse and customer service experience.
• Experience with heavy machinery or forklift preferred but not required; ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
