Alpine Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of part-time Lifeguard. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and observe swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
- Administer first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers.
- Maintain amenities and cleanliness of changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers.
- Assist in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons for members as directed by the department manager.
- Enforce the rules of conduct.
- Perform pool maintenance to include checking chemicals and pool vacuuming.
- Check the first aid supplies and report needed items to management in a timely fashion.
- Organize and monitor pool games at all times; suggest pool‑side games.
- Skim bugs and other debris from surface to prepare pool for daily use, empty automatic skimmer.
- Cleans up and organize pool area at the end of the day.
- Maintain all necessary records determined by the department manager.
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
- Minimum of two (2) years of lifeguarding experience.
- CPR, First Aid Certification, various Water Safety/Instructor Certifications required.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.
