The responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Lead include but are not limited to: being a positive member of the NTSIN leadership team, actively developing teammates within our culture, receiving all inbound material and shipping all FG material, coordinating yard storage, ensuring efficient material flow throughout the following departments—Hardware/Arms, Light Bay, Heavy Bay, Galvanizing, Blast, and Paint—and effectively communicating with each department and outside customers as it relates to production, shipping, and receiving.

The Shipping & Receiving Lead will operate and train others on various pieces of material handling equipment—including, but not limited to:
Taylor, Hyster, Combi‑lift, Overhead Crane, Stradel Carrier, and Yard Spotter trucks. Additional responsibilities include filling in for other positions, and for the Supervisor as necessary.

• Competent with Microsoft Office software programs.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in steel manufacturing.
• Demonstrate the values that make up our Nucor culture and be willing to work a flexible schedule.

• Previous Leadership experience.
• Previous Greenfield experience is a plus.
• Previous Shipping and Receiving experience.
• D365 or ERP system experience.
