We are looking for a Yard Driver at our Crawfordsville, IN manufacturing facility.

Pay Range ($23.70 per hour)

The Shipping Yard Driver is responsible for transportation of trailers and products relative to assigned area of responsibility.

• Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
• Conform to DOT safety regulations.
• Complete log books and other documentation.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Load and unload customer and/or vendor vehicles as required.
• Dock trailers in dock doors.
• Stage trailers.
• Perform yard checks.
• Material handling, assist in shipping/receiving, pallet yard or other areas as needed.

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to routinely lift 25 lbs. and up to 80 lbs with assistance.
• Capable of quality inspection of product (boxes, cartons, finished product, etc.).
• Fork truck driver’s license, certificate of training and/or ability to complete fork truck license certification required.
• Material handling experience required.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving process.
• Basic knowledge of PC usage required to include using Microsoft Windows and data entry operations.
• Minimum of two years experience in a warehouse environment required.
