Management Accountant Immediate

Management Accountant | Newry | Fixed-Term Contract, Maternity Cover Were recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a successful business in Newry on a fixed-term contract. This is a commercial, value-adding finance role with real exposure to the leadership team. Alongside producing accurate financial information, youll help improve reporting, develop KPIs, strengthen financial processes and support business planning and decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of Group Management Accounts Assisting with the development and reporting of KPIs Supporting preparation of the monthly Board Report Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Reviewing bank and supplier reconciliations Preparing UK VAT, payroll, subcontractor and other statutory returns prior to submission Assisting with branch CIT, VAT, payroll, subcontractor and other statutory returns Preparing annual financial statements and audit files Preparing annual budgets and business plans Preparing grant applications and claims Developing and improving financial systems and processes Mentoring and developing other members of the finance team Ensuring statutory surveys are completed on time This role would suit an experienced accountant who enjoys getting beyond the numbers, working closely with senior stakeholders and making a genuine contribution to the wider business.
