The Opportunity
Guided Talent is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and services business for a Service Coordinator to be based at their Crawley head office.
This is a key administrative and customer-facing role, supporting the Service Team with day-to-day operations while acting as a dedicated first point of contact for a portfolio of assigned customers. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for assigned service customers
* Provide day-to-day service administration support to the Service Team
* Raise, process, and manage monthly invoices in line with agreed deadlines
* Resolve invoice queries and raise credit notes where required
* Prepare and issue monthly service reports for customers
* Raise and allocate jobs to the Repairs / Service Engineering teams
* Prepare, issue, and follow up service and repair quotations
* Answer inbound telephone calls and emails professionally and efficiently
* Assist with engineer scheduling and workload coordination
* Ensure contractual service obligations are met for relevant clients
* Provide cover for other administration team members when required
* Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota (approximately 1 month in 12)
* Carry out ad-hoc administrative duties as required
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident IT user with good general computer literacy
* Proven experience in a customer service or service administration role
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer queries
* Ability to take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities
