Tyre Technician

Our client, one of the UKs fastest-growing fast-fit automotive businesses, is currently looking for a Tyre Technician based at their retail centre in Crawley . As a Tyre Technician , you will be responsible for carrying out accurate tyre fitting and repairs, as well as supporting with a range of fast-fit mechanical work, including brakes, exhausts and basic servicing. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tyre Technician looking for a long-term career with excellent training and progression opportunities.

Location:

Crawley Pay / salary: £30,000 to £32,000

Basic Salary OTE:
Approximately £3,600 achievable bonus Shift and schedule:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30, 42.5 hours per week;

Carrying out accurate tyre fitting, replacements and repairs Completing fast-fit mechanical work, including exhaust and brake repairs and replacements Carrying out basic servicing work Maintaining accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry-leading standards Ensuring customers' vehicles are left clean and free from any dirt, oil or marks resulting from the work carried out Working with the rest of the workshop team to achieve targets Working safely and in line with company health and safety procedures To be a Tyre Technician you will need:
Valid UK driving licence held for at least 6 months Essential NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent. Level 2 qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, HGV, LCV or PSV Vehicle Maintenance and Repair will also be considered At least 1 year of experience working as a Tyre Technician A passion for the Automotive industry and a desire to learn and develop further The ability to work effectively as part of a team Our client:
