The National Account Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth across Blueleaf’s key national customers. This role focuses on developing long‑term partnerships, expanding revenue opportunities, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across multiple sites and regions. The ideal candidate combines commercial acumen with strong relationship‑building skills and a deep understanding of Blueleaf’s product and service offering.

Main Responsibilities Account Management & Growth- Own and manage a portfolio of national accounts, ensuring retention, satisfaction, and year‑on‑year growth.
- Develop strategic account plans aligned with customer needs and Blueleaf’s commercial objectives.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across product categories and service lines.
- Lead contract renewals, pricing discussions, and long‑term commercial negotiations.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across customer organisations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, service issues, and strategic discussions.
- Conduct regular business reviews, performance reporting, and forward‑planning sessions.
- Work closely with internal teams—including supply chain, customer service, operations, and finance—to ensure seamless delivery and service excellence.
- Support implementation of new accounts, product transitions, and service improvements.
- Monitor KPIs, service levels, and compliance requirements across all customer sites.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Blueleaf’s product portfolio, industry trends, and competitor landscape.
- Provide insights to customers on best practices, innovations, and cost‑saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to support customer‑specific initiatives.
- Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and account reporting.
- Track performance against commercial targets and proactively address risks or gaps.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and strategic documents for internal and customer meetings.
- Proven experience managing large or national accounts, ideally within a similar sector.
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Customer‑centric mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach.
- Confident, resilient, and able to influence at all levels.

LocationYou would remotely and would be required to travel to one of our offices in either Crawley or Wakefield as and when required.
