Junior Designer, Crawley, salary up to £28,720 p/a depending on experience.

Are you a creative thinker who loves bringing designs to life? Join the Creative Team within the WBC brand, part of Premier Paper Group, as a Junior Designer. You’ll take customer artwork or create fresh designs and see them applied to WBC Pure and Bespoke products. This is your chance to turn ideas into real, tangible products while growing your skills in a team that values creativity and innovation.
Responsibilitiesand duties
- Create and set up personalisation artwork for client approval.
- Create 3D mock‑ups as required.
- Work with Customer Services and Key Accounts to develop concepts when/if required (from concept through to setting up print‑ready artwork).
- Estimate time required to carry out a project.
- Liaise with printers when required.
- Produce personalisation templates (ensuring they are customer‑friendly and on‑brand).
- Manage multiple design projects concurrently, adhering to timelines, milestones and priorities to meet project deadlines effectively.
- Receive feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to designs, ensuring a high level of quality and client satisfaction.
Ensure that all assets created are named, filed and stored promptly and correctly; ensure the wider Creative Team can easily find and access them. Ensure assets under development can be shared and collaborated on across the Creative Team.
Brand consistencyWork alongside Marketing, eCommerce and Design teams, under guidance of the Senior Designer, to ensure all creations are on‑brand and that messaging is strong, consistent and adheres to brand guidelines.
Knowledge and skills- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, visual arts or a related field.
- At least one year of professional design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography and colour theory.
- Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to stay motivated when working independently.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and steer them through to completion.
- Solid planning and organisational skills, with an ability to multitask.

This is a full‑time position based in Crawley. We collaborate in person, so no remote positions are offered; therefore you should be based within or near Crawley.
