A leading independent prep school in West Sussex is seeking a Head of Science to cover maternity leave from February 2026. This is a full time role.

This role will entail teaching Science from Year 4 through to Year 8 including Common Entrance and Scholarship alongside leading the department. The pupils are kind natured, keen to learn and very able. The Head wants to offer this fantastic role to someone who is passionate, dynamic, kind, supportive and an excellent Science practitioner. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching Science at either primary or secondary level and want to involve themselves in the wider life of the School.
