What skills and experience we’re looking for

For April 2026, we are looking for:

• An English specialist teacher who has the experience and ability to teach KS3 and KS4. The ability to teach KS5 is desirable.
• A positive teacher who can enthuse, motivate and engage students and is committed to excellence and high student achievement.
• A teacher with a passion for working with young people and a perseverance to make a difference to them and their future.
• A teacher with a focus on their own professional development and a drive to work with us to become the best teacher they can be.
• Applications from ECTs are welcome, who would benefit from our highly‑praised professional studies and support programme.

• Is taught by a superb team of highly skilled, supportive and dedicated staff.
• Is a popular KS5 option.
• Achieves excellent results.
