Daily Rate: GBP 190 – 230 (Based on experience/Scale)

Are you an inspiring educator looking to lead a class through their final term of Key Stage 1? Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher for a high‑achieving, supportive primary school in Crawley. This is a full‑time, long‑term role starting immediately after the Easter break and continuing until the end of the academic year. You will be taking over a settled Year 2 class, guiding them through their transition toward Key Stage 2 and ensuring they finish the year with confidence and academic success.

• Full classroom leadership: planning, delivering, and assessing the Year 2 curriculum.
• Assessment and moderation: manage end‑of‑year assessments and report on pupil progress, ensuring every child meets their potential.
• Inclusive practice: differentiate lessons to support a mixed‑ability cohort, including students with EAL and SEN requirements.
• Parental engagement: maintain strong communication with parents and carers regarding student development and transition.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs.
• KS1 expertise: a deep understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and effective phonics delivery.
• Strong classroom management: the ability to foster a nurturing yet disciplined learning environment.
