As a
** Service Engineer
** based in
** Gatwick
* * you’ll be responsible for:
* Servicing the company’s hire fleet and coordinating with the hire team to ensure equipment is ready ahead of customer demand.
* Servicing customer-owned equipment and attending onsite breakdowns to provide timely technical support.
* Inspecting returned equipment for damage, triaging customer‑caused issues and liaising with the office to process damage reports.
* Supporting customers with repairs either onsite or over the phone while maintaining full compliance with health and safety requirements.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8.00am - 5.00pm
** And here’s what we’d like you to have:
*** Strong mechanical aptitude with skills or qualifications in mechanics, electronics or hydraulics; candidates with engineering or automotive‑mechanic backgrounds are well suited.
* Hire industry experience is desirable, along with the flexibility to support work on the hire fleet and occasionally travel to other branches if required.
* Full driving licence essential for attending breakdowns; a forklift licence is an advantage.
* Positive, customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills to deliver clear technical support both face to face and over the phone. We look forward to receiving your application!#ACMM
