Join Our leading Engineering Rail/Engineering client's team as a Continuous Improvement Engineer/Lean Engineer.

About the Role:As our client's new Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will lead the charge in developing innovative solutions to tackle inefficient processes and complex challenges across our client's busy Rail depot. Your mission? To streamline operations, unlock significant savings, and ensure smooth implementation of improvement initiatives that empower our teams.
What You'll Do:- Drive the creation, development, procurement, and implementation of ideas that enhance working practices—managing projects from concept to successful handover.
- Collaborate closely as an integral part of the management team, shaping strategies that maximize operational efficiency.
- Identify the biggest opportunities for cost and time savings and establish clear, achievable schedules for rolling out improvement activities.
- Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Office tools to maintain transparent, up-to-date tracking of all improvement initiatives, serving as the central hub for governance and progress at every level.
- A proactive engineer with hands‑on experience in lean methodologies and continuous improvement.
- Strong project governance skills and a knack for coordinating cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence stakeholders and embed change effectively.
- Comfortable working across multiple sites, ensuring consistent delivery and adoption of best practices.
