Role
Seeking a motivated and experienced mechanical and electrical engineer to lead a small in‑house maintenance department. The role focuses on minimising equipment downtime, implementing a computerised maintenance management system and improving the current preventive maintenance programme.
The plant requires a wide spectrum of maintenance activities covering mechanical, electrical and robotics. The engineer will ensure day‑to‑day maintenance is carried out on manufacturing and ancillary equipment, and will deal with breakdowns as they arise in line with production priorities.
Candidate- Strong management experience overseeing a maintenance team.
- Multi‑skilled engineer with experience in electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Comfortable remaining on the tools while leading the maintenance team.
- Continuous improvement experience highly beneficial.
- Proven experience in a production environment.
- Engineering qualifications are beneficial.
Offering up to £60,000 per annum.
