Position: CCTV Drainage Engineer Nights
Location:
Crawley Depot, Crawley, West Sussex
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 50 hours Nights
Salary: £42,000 per annum (made up of basic pay, overtime, on call allowance and bonuses)

About the RoleDue to continued growth and development, we are looking for customer focused people to join our Utility Division, working on our Southern Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste‑water network and drainage problems.
Responsibilities- Travelling to residential sites in a two‑person crew, in one of our custom‑equipped fleet of high‑tech vans.
- Survey the network of drainage systems.
- Assess pipe conditions to produce high‑quality reports with the help of state‑of‑the‑art drain‑surveying equipment.
- Ensuring jobs attended are completed.
- Troubleshoot any problems that arise on the job.
- Liaise with the team of Technical Specialists regarding access and equipment issues.
- Ensuring safe site set up.
- Updating the job notes on VISTEC.
- Ensure photos are taken of the setup, inspection chamber and whole site.
- Delivering good customer service.
- Maintaining good health and safety practice while carrying out works.
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them.
- Perform any other reasonable ad‑hoc duties, tasks or projects as requested by management.
The ideal candidate will be hard‑working, respectful, and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of OS19X equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g., NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.
