Job Description
Solaris Administrator – Contract position (3–6 months) at Crawley, England for NIIT Technologies.
Responsibilities include:
- Administration of Solaris V9/V10/V11 systems.
- Migration of Oracle workloads and Solaris 9/10 to Solaris 11.
- Commissioning new servers and physical‑to‑virtual migrations.
- Managing SUN Cluster environments.
- Zone migration and related system management tasks.
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, IT).
- Proven experience with Solaris operating systems and related technologies.
