Are you a career engineer or project professional looking to take the next step? We offer an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment as a Project Manager. From day one, you'll take ownership of real projects, including security barriers, turnstiles, and road blockers, accelerating your development and ensuring project success.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage multiple engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Plan project timelines, coordinate resources, and support installations.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, from site teams to senior management.
- Attend site visits, support installations, and meet clients.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure projects stay on track.
- Work closely with internal teams across engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience in project, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
- A degree (minimum 2:2) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Basic practical engineering knowledge (through study, placements, or early career experience).
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Customer-focused mindset with some client-facing experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Commercial awareness alongside technical understanding.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
- A full UK driving licence (desirable).
