This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the organisation, supporting financial reporting, strengthening controls, and helping deliver accurate, insightful financial information that drives business performance.

As part of a collaborative and highly experienced team, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of finance activities, work alongside talented colleagues across the business, and have the opportunity to develop your career within a large, global organisation.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Finance Director (Reporting, Planning & Financial Control), you'll play a key role in maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance with Group policies and financial reporting standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Analysing key balance sheet and income statement accounts, investigating movements and ensuring accurate accounting treatment.
  • Reviewing and correcting general ledger balances where required.
  • Preparing and reviewing key reconciliations, including payroll, intercompany balances and project accounting.
  • Supporting statutory and technical accounting activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and FRS 101.
  • Developing accounting policy documentation and communicating financial policies across the business.
  • Supporting external audit activities, coordinating requests and ensuring timely delivery of information.
  • Assisting with the implementation and testing of internal financial controls.
  • Working with finance colleagues across the business to support reporting and budgeting activities.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes through automation, digital tools and AI-driven solutions.
  • Providing technical accounting guidance and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a proactive, analytical finance professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

You’ll bring:
  • A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Post-qualified experience within audit, financial reporting or financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory reporting requirements and IFRS.
  • Experience analysing complex financial information and interpreting large data sets.
  • Excellent Excel skills and confidence using financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercial awareness and a continuous improvement mindset.

An interest in leveraging technology and AI to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
It would also be advantageous if you have:
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
  • Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems such as Oracle, Cognos, TM1, Magnitude or Anaplan.
What you’ll receive

You’ll be joining a collaborative organisation that values professional development and provides opportunities to broaden your experience and progress your career.

Benefits include:
  • Excellent career development and progression opportunities.
  • Ongoing professional training, mentoring and coaching.
  • Exposure to a broad range of finance activities across the organisation.
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements where possible.
  • A collaborative, inclusive and supportive working environment.
  • Opportunities to work across a diverse, international business.
