IT Change Consultant

IT Change Consultant – SC Cleared – Crawley - Contract Change Management, Adoption and Engagement About the role We are looking for a proactive and collaborative IT Change Consultant to support the successful adoption of change across our clients organisation. Working across adoption, user experience, communications, engagement, training and support, you will turn complex information into clear, practical guidance and coordinate activities that help colleagues prepare for and embrace new ways of working.

Key responsibilities Adoption and user experience
• Knowledge-based articles:
Establish which articles need to be created, updated or retired, develop an issue schedule and track progress against use-case and wider change go-live dates.
• User testing:
Capture testing requirements for each use case and deliver the user-testing programme with use-case teams, including identifying users, scheduling tests and recording results and feedback.
• User actions:
Gather information regularly and produce clear, user-friendly actions for each use case, including coordinating translation where required.

Communications and engagement
• Interactive page:
Gather updates from use-case stakeholders and keep the interactive page accurate, relevant and current.
• Business updates:
Create and maintain a concise one-slide update for businesses and functions, highlighting what is coming next and linking colleagues to relevant information for sharing with their teams.
• Roadshows:
Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate content, plan and deliver roadshows that promote adoption, improve the user experience and capture feedback.

Change management
• Apply and share change-management best practice, helping us continually improve how IS change is planned and delivered.
• Engage relevant stakeholders to understand requirements, plan activities and report progress, risks and opportunities.

Training and go-live support
• Identify, coordinate and equip super users to support the wider user community.
• Plan and deliver drop-in sessions and surgeries before go-live and during post-go-live support.
• Connect support activities with user testing, demonstrations and practical guidance

About you
• Experience supporting organisational change, adoption, communications, engagement or training activities.
• Strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to translate complex information into accessible, user-friendly content.
• Confidence working with stakeholders at different levels and across internal and external teams.
• A practical, organised approach to tracking progress, risks, opportunities and feedback.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering a positive user experience.
• Proven within IT Change Management
• SC Security Cleared
