Transport Support Assistant - Airline Catering

Optime Group are excited to be recruiting a Transport Support Assistant to support a well-established client within the airline catering industry. PLEASE NOTE: APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A FULL VALID UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENCE WITH NO MORE THAN 3 POINTS.

• Rate of Pay: £14.76 per hour
• Location: Crawley RH10 9QT
• Shift Pattern: 5-on/3-off
• Shift timing: Between 3.00 am and 10.00 am start time and finish between 12.30 pm and 19.30 - Various start times, you must be able to work all shifts on rotation.
• Free On-Site Parking
• Complimentary Meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner provided while on shift
• Free Tea & Coffee – stay energised throughout the day
• Temp to Perm (performance-based)

• Loading and unloading catering equipment, carts, and supplies to strict time frames.
• Preparing trolleys and orders accurately for outbound flights.
• Working airside around aircraft while following aviation safety and security rules.
• Supporting drivers and operations teams to meet on-time departures.

• Valid UK Manual Driving licence (maximum 3 points).
• Physically fit, able to work diverse temperatures.
• A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work

• Basic numeracy and checking skills
• Reliability and commitment to upholding our core values
• Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National
• UK Settled Status (If applicable)

• 5 Year Address History
• 5 Year Work Reference History
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.

PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
