Successful candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations in a Class 2 vehicle while ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and customer service standards.

Successful candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations in a Class 2 vehicle while ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and customer service standards.



Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C1) vehicle for multi-drop deliveries and collections.
• Able to lift heavy items
• Adhere to scheduled delivery times and routes.
• Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
• Ensure goods are loaded and unloaded securely, with proper handling techniques.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers.
• Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with all driving legislation, including tachograph rules and road safety laws.

• Valid Class 2 (Category
  
  C) HGV license.
• Clean DBS
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous experience in a similar driving role as a Class 2 Driver .
• A strong understanding of UK road networks and transport regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

• Competitive pay rate of £16.74per hour. £25.11overtime rate
• Overtime opportunities and shift flexibility

• Full-time, on going temporary
• 4 days
• between Mondayto Saturday
• 5-6:00am starts
