Van Delivery Driver - Crawley
People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Delivery Drivers to join our well-established client based in Crawley.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, no weekend work and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a growing logistics business.
This would suit applicants who have worked as a Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Courier.
Rates of Pay:- £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
- Performance-related bonus scheme
- Weekly PAYE pay
- Holiday pay accrued separately
- Monday to Friday
- Typically 5-10 hours per day
- Weekly rota provided in advance
- No weekend work

Your duties as a Van Delivery Driver are:
- Safely loading your vehicle ready for delivery
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Driving safely and efficiently across local delivery routes
- Delivering goods safely and on time
- Providing excellent customer service
- Handling returns and unloading when required
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Representing the company professionally at all times
Skills:
To be successful as a Van Delivery Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK Category B driving licence held for at least one year
- To be aged 21 or over for vehicle insurance purposes
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences
- No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements
- Good physical fitness for loading and manual handling duties
- Excellent communication skills
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach
- A strong customer service attitude
- Fully paid site induction
- Three paid training shifts alongside an experienced driver
- Ongoing support from the team
- Full training on company procedures and delivery processes
- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
