Job Purpose:
To ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate manufacture of pharmaceutical products in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company procedures, and health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to batch records and instructions.
- Maintain accurate and complete production documentation, including batch records, cleaning logs, and deviation reports.
- Carry out in-process checks to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Clean and sanitize production areas and equipment according to GMP standards.
- Support the setup and changeover of machinery for different products or batches.
- Identify and report any equipment faults or deviations from process controls immediately.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Work collaboratively with quality assurance and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement and issue resolution.
- Participate in training and ongoing development to remain compliant with regulatory and internal requirements.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or other GMP-regulated production environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of GMP, SOPs, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including shift work if required.
