Job Summary

A well-established steel construction company in Crediton, Devon, is seeking a Mig Welder / Fabricator to join their workshop. The role offers competitive base pay of £27,000 – £40,000, paid overtime, clear progression routes to senior positions such as Workshop Foreman and Manager, and a supportive working environment.

• Fabricate steel components within the workshop environment.
• MIG weld steel components to specification.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Lay out materials and prepare fabrication work.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with excellent attention to detail.

• Previous experience as a Welder / Fabricator.
• Proficiency in MIG welding and steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and good time‑keeping.
• Enthusiasm to work in a workshop‑based role.
