Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in California requiring a CA RN license and advanced life support certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit at a hospital
- Care for patients of all age and developmental stages
- Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
- Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
- Manages care for assigned patients and directs activities of ancillary staff
- May perform charge nurse functions as needed
- May only be approved for RTO that includes one holiday
- Returning travelers must have a 1-year gap before reapplying
- Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing ACA
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required unless otherwise noted
- Must comply with a 50-mile radius rule for eligibility
