Integrated Case Worker I/II – Crescent City, CA County of Del Norte | ENC 24-00102 | Full Time | 01/09/2026 – 1/23/2026 (Closing date: 1/23/2026 11:59 PM PT)
Salary- Integrated Case Worker I: $1,899.05 – $2,308.31 bi‑weekly
- Integrated Case Worker II: $2,096.20 – $2,547.94 bi‑weekly
Applies regulations and procedures to determine eligibility of applicants and recipients for multiple public assistance benefits Regiment. Provides basic employment services to clients, performs casework management duties for benefit and employment services, and performs related duties as required.
Working under close supervision, Integrated Case Worker I is the entry level of the Integrated Case Worker series. Employees attend training sessions and work under close supervision to learn regulations, procedures, forms, and public assistance and/or employment program requirements. After initial orientation and training, on‑job experience is provided until discussão demonstrates competency necessary for promotion to the working level of Integrated Case Worker II.
Employees are expected to promote to Integrated Case Worker II after one year of satisfactory performance.
Incumbents receive supervision from a Supervising Integrated Case Worker, Human Services Supervisor, or Employment and Training Supervisor.
Detailed Work Activities- Conduct group orientations and workshops, assist participants in completing applications and readiness evaluation forms.
- Interview, advise and guide a diverse population of clients to ascertain employability and determine benefit eligibility.
- Handle crisis situations, authorizing benefits within guidelines or making referrals to community resources.
- Conduct initial appraisal of case records and advise clients on transition to employment.
- Perform case studies, develop treatmentertil plans and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist clients with transportation, training, and ancillary needs through authorization or referral.
- Identify clients with barriers to employment and refer to appropriate staff or community resources.
- Analyze financial, employment, family, and personal information to authorize eligibility for aid programs.
- Develop and conduct classes to assist clients in obtaining and maintaining employment.
- Interpret policies, rules and regulations, and inform clients of rights and responsibilities.
- Resolve discrepancies through documentation, medical substantiation, employment records, and agency confirmations.
- Ensure application and declaration forms are completed accurately, obtaining supporting information as needed.
- Conduct diversion evaluations and recommend lump sum benefits.
- Apply sanctions and conduct client reconciliation interviews for non‑compliance.
- Use computer systems to input client information.
- Organize and manage client caseload, meeting time limits set by regulation and policy.
- Maintain case records, modify employment plans, and monitor compliance.
- Consult with staff and service providers on case management coordination.
- Serve as a one‑stop assistant to guide the public in applying for resources and services.
- Conduct field visits to complete application interviews and monitor progress.
