Central Supply Coordinator – Cresskill, NJ
Salary Range: $16.00 – $23.00 per hour

The Central Supply Coordinator is responsible for assisting in providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Executive Director to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Maintains and manages all supplies, including ordering, purchasing and stocking medical supplies.
- Accurately report non‑formulary supplies and quantity to Executive Director (ED), and maintain sufficient quantity to ensure availability.
- Provide timely and accurate tracking of supplies and utilization.
- Dispense supplies as requested by DON and Charge Nurse.
- Routinely rotates all supplies per FIFO and ensures supplies are securely stored.
- Must possess at a minimum a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility or department which may include a medical and physical examination.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
- Must be able to handle all the physically demanding aspects of being a Central Supply Coordinator.
- Must provide great customer service to patients and employees!
