• Day‑to‑day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents assigned to his or her care.
• Direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice.
• Supervises administratively in the building assigned—a range of Certified Nursing Assistants and licensed nurses of all staff of his/her respective discipline.
• Supervision follows all accepted state and federal guidelines for the respective discipline.

• Education – Graduate from a credentialed school of nursing.
• Certification / Licensure – Currently licensed as a nurse in the state of practice.
