A Typical Day...

As a Multi-Unit Team Leader, you will lead three H&R Block tax offices, providing leadership and development to teams to drive seasonal tax business growth. You will be responsible for team management, client experience, and meeting office growth objectives. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.

You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours. This role requires in-person work; remote work is not available.

• Experience managing multiple teams in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries

Responsibilities...

• Manage staffing, operations, and logistics across multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders
• Partner with the District General Manager to develop growth plans and community involvement strategies
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates
• Conduct performance reviews and address associate issues
• Train, coach, and recognize team contributions
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate updates
• Create work schedules and manage labor across offices
• Travel between offices as needed
• Prepare tax returns upon completing required training

Qualifications...

• People management experience with a focus on development
• Ability to execute growth strategies and lead a growth-oriented culture
• Strong decision-making, communication, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; tax knowledge assessment or course completion required for tax preparation

Pay Range...

$15.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and location. Additional benefits and incentive plans may apply.
