CDL A Linehaul Driver

CDL A Linehaul Driver | Home Daily at Dayton Freight Lines, Inc.

Mileage rate is $0.82 per mile. This is a full‑time, home‑daily driver position within a stable and growing organization. No doubles, work‑life balance, quality hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Transport freight between service centers in a safe, timely, and claims‑free manner.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of the tractor‑trailer.
• Affix correct placards to the tractor‑trailer when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
• Use a forklift to unload/load products when indicated.
• Be available for irregular work schedules, extended trips away from the domiciled service center, alternating work shifts, and/or assignments.
• Adhere to operational procedures and guidelines.

• At least 23 years of age.
• At least 24 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank endorsement.
• Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card.
• No DUI, no convictions for reckless operations, and less than two moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Basic math skills and fluency in English.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug screen.
