Requirements:

• Two years supervisory experience
• Five years related experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Experience handling and reconciling cash and other payments
• Training and experience in a computerized work environment. High level of knowledge and experience POS, MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and other office equipment. Experience in Recreation Software may be considered an asset
• Experience or knowledge relating to Recreation facilities
• Capable of handling frequent interruptions and constant inquiries including occasional upset customers.
• Ability to handle a wide range of administrative and customer service activities in areas such as office administration, data entry, customer service, and accounting
• Superior customer service and communication skills
• Skill and ability to deal courteously and effectively with the public, using tact and good judgment
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and perform tasks of some complexity under minimal direction but within a consultative teamwork approach

Required Qualifications:

• Certificate in office administration or an acceptable combination of education and experience

This is a full-time benefited position working 35-40 hours per week. The successful candidate must be available to work a varied work schedule that includes day, weekend, and/or evening shifts. This is a union position, and the current rate of pay is $32.07/hr as per the collective agreement, CUPE Local 748.
