The Clinic Scheduler is responsible for continuum of care for patients starting with appointment scheduling and following through with claims and management. Duties include coordinating with billing and financial counselors for collection, and providing positive communication and service explanations to patients to improve the patient experience.
Responsibilities- Schedule appointments and manage the continuum of care, including follow-up on claims and management processes.
- Coordinate with billing and financial counselors for collection activities.
- Provide positive communication and clearly explain services to patients to improve the patient experience.
Tentative schedule is 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
Qualifications & Skills- Healthcare customer service experience preferred.
- Insurance/coding and claims background is helpful.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
