Independent Pet and Distribution Manager - Retail

This role will lead the efforts of our Distribution partners in the geography defined by the IPR Distribution Lead. This sales role partners with our distributors and drives growth in the valuable Independent Pet Retail channel.

• Deliver growth in the Independent Pet Retail Channel by partnering with Distribution to ensure Elanco is top of mind and supporting our IPR customers
• Deliver FSIP goals while supporting One Elanco
• Develop customized Sales Presentations
• Develop and deliver trade plans to drive growth and deliver ROI for Elanco
• Sell and launch innovation, in addition to closing Elanco distribution void gaps
• Ensure strong execution of all Elanco programs in line with budget expectations
• Develop forecast and delivery revenue for the channel

• Education:
  
  Associate Degree;
  Military experience may be considered in lieu of a degree on a case‑by‑case basis.
• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in an entry‑level sales role.
• Top skills include the ability to develop relationships and create engaging sales presentations.

Elanco currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from $86,000 to $143,000 depending partly on the successful candidate’s qualifications, including education and experience. Full‑time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending partly on company and individual performance). Additionally, Elanco offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including a company‑matching 401(k); vacation benefits;

eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits; life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well‑being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities). The compensation is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above. Elanco reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate its compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion, and Elanco’s compensation practices and guidelines will apply regarding the details of any promotion or transfer of Elanco employees.
