Training Technician

This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service.

The primary purpose of this position is: to assist the Chief, Education and Training Office in administering the education and training programs, provide technical guidance and assistance to managers and supervisors within unit organizations on all aspects of the program. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. Additionally, provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

Duties: 1:
Assists the Chief, Education and Training in administration of Education, Training and Distance Learning Programs. 2:
Responsible for overall management OJT program for the wing. Monitors the overall accuracy and reliability of all data entered into and maintained in Personnel Data System (PDS). 3:
Manages the development of education and training instructional products. Administers a diversified testing program.

4:
Plans, directs, organizes, and coordinates operations of the Advance Distributed Learning, and multimedia education and training programs.

An accrediting institution recognized by the U.S.

EDUCATION:

Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

This position is with Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command, Department of the Air Force.

The posted pay range is $61722 – $80243/yr.

This position is eligible for telework.

This position requires a Secret security clearance.
