Ultrasound sonographer

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cardiovascular Sonographer who takes pride in delivering high-quality imaging and genuinely cares about patient experience.

Diagnostic imaging plays a critical role in the care we provide, and we’re looking for someone who understands the importance of accuracy, professionalism, and compassion in every study performed.

This is a close knit outpatient practice, where your expertise will be valued, and your contributions will directly impact patient care.

This position can be FT/PT or PRN.

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss imaging results and patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of ultrasound findings.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Educate patients about the ultrasound process and answer any questions they may have.
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.

• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
• Vascular ultrasound experience preffered
• Proven experience in performing ultrasound examinations.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality imaging results.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
