Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. is accepting applications for an Asphalt Plant Operator for our Crestview Plant.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday (Some Saturdays) 10 - 12 Hour Shifts

Pay Rate: DOE*

• Must maintain reliable attendance and transportation.
• Must meet company safety and performance standards.
• The duties can change daily depending on the project and weather.
• Must be able to pass physical and drug test.
• Ambitious, dependable, and have a good work ethic.
• Mechanical and electrical background.
• Familiarity with computers.
• Experience preferred but not required.

• Execute startup, shutdown, and operation of an Astec controlled 300
  
  TPH asphalt plant.
• Adjust controls to optimize plant performance, and operation.
• Monitor tank levels and communicate liquid deliveries to ensure tanks stay filled to maximum capacity.
• Maintain yard and plant to be in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Correctly loadout and ticket trucks to match material and job.
• Prepare end of day reports as directed by the plant foreman, and ensure tickets are correct.
• Troubleshoot problems with plant and assist with repairs to keep plant operable, and in optimal working condition.

The Essential Functions Of This Position Include -

Sitting, standing, walking, climbing, reaching, bending, trunk movements, lifting a minimum of 45 lbs., carrying, pushing/pulling, low-level work, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing and talking.
