Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on the night shift, requiring a FL or compact RN license and recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on the Medical Surgical floor, unit 2, in an acute care setting

• Serve an adult Med/Surg patient population, including stroke patients

• Night shift schedule from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg and stroke patients during night shifts

• RTO requests exceeding 1 week will not be approved

• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs

• Candidates must not have been permanent staff at any CHS facility in the past 2 years

• First-time travelers are eligible for consideration
Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required

• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience required

• No certifications can expire within the first 30 days of the contract

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• No former permanent staff employment at any CHS facility within the past 2 years

• RTO (requested time off) must be less than 1 week

• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
